Announcing the release of Pala Catch Counter 3.1
- Does not require loud catch
- Works with 20 meter radius of the hud wearer (usually the host)
- Remotes that talk to the hud can be placed to cover the rest of the fishing area
- Remotes have locaters, coverage area displays and can all be destroyed at one time
- Overlapping coverage areas are not a problem
- Prize points are selectable from the hud (50 or 100 catches, etc.)
- Also informs the hud wearer of level up announcements withing range of the hud and remotes
- Has an upgrade capability
- It is free
It is available (for free) at the same location where the Pala Chat Relay 2.0 is available. Don't know where that is?
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Pala/230/229/10 The LM has an image of the pirate tower at Pala. If you still can't find it, IM me.
The Pala Chat Counter does two things. First, the hud and remotes (if rezzed in-world) listen for level up messages from 7Seas fishing rods and alerts the hud wearer. This would allow them to hand out any level up awards that their fishing area may be giving out. Second, it listens for catch messages from the 7Seas fishing rods and passes them on to the hud for counting. When the catch point reaches a selectable prize point (40, 50, 100, whatever), it alerts the hud wearer so that a prize (I have been using bait buckets) can be given to the lucky fisher. The alerts are presented to the hud wearer in chat, along with an audible tone (different tones are used for each alert). The remotes, if they are going to be used, should be placed around 40 meters apart, but there is no issue with overlap. The hud wearer can be anywhere in the sim.
